Our Story
PawBasic started with one simple mission:
Create a calm, safe, and loving grooming space right here in Cooksville, Mississauga.
Our founder, Sheron, grew up in this neighbourhood and always dreamed of opening a pet salon in the community she calls home. After formally studying pet grooming and years of hands-on experience, she began grooming from her own home in 2014.
Word spread quickly.
Local dog moms loved the gentle handling.
Puppies stopped being scared of bath time.
Even nervous cats became repeat clients.
Today, PawBasic is proud to be one of the highest-rated pet grooming salons in Mississauga, with a 4.9-star reputation built on consistency, patience, and genuine love for animals.
